Mr. Frisby is joining LTP Scholars in the 2026-2027 academic year as an instructor in American History. He has taught at independent schools in Maryland and in the Charleston area since 2010. Prior to teaching, he worked in investment analysis in Chicago. In Charleston, Mr. Frisby has previously worked in a leadership capacity with the Daniel Island Historical Society, and more recently participated in the memorial project for Anson Street African Burial Ground.  Hailing from Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, Mr. Frisby has studied in the U.S. and abroad, earning bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history along the way. Mr. Frisby resides on Daniel Island with his family. His favorite pastimes include tennis, skiing, live music, and film.
